On May 6th, we experienced a powerful energy with Pluto, ruler of the underworld, turning to retrograde motion. This followed a potent Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio on May 1st, the sign that Pluto, the Transformer, rules.
Pluto, known as Hades in Greek mythology, rules death and rebirth, transformation and regeneration, transmutation and elimination. He rules big changes and our soul’s evolution...and the evolution of the collective of humanity.
Whenever a planet is getting ready to shift directions, it magnifies the energy of that planet. As we mentioned above, Pluto rules metaphoric death and rebirth. It rules the unconscious mind, repressed feelings and the collective shadow. It digs down deep to what is hidden beneath the surface in order to expose it and transform it. Do you see what is already being exposed in the world? This is the process of Pluto.
His energies are turned inward during his retrograde process, which lasts until October 15th, 2026. During this time we are all being called to take back our power, own our power, and be empowered! It is time to face our own personal shadow, transform it, and rise like the phoenix from the ashes, born anew! We have a chance, on a collective level, to stand in the raw truth of what is, and has been, happening on this planet for thousands of years!
