I vividly remember how I came to understand my connection with my Twin Flame, whom I will call “Cowboy.” Reflecting on that relationship helped me prepare for the Twin Flames episode with Ms. Angela Levasseur on The Starseeds and Lightworkers Collective.

Cowboy and I shared a seven-year relationship. My understanding is that many people feel fortunate simply to meet someone they recognize as a Twin Flame in this lifetime. To have spent seven years together—loving one another, learning from one another, and simply enjoying the journey—felt like a miracle to me.
It is funny how information sometimes seems to arrive when we are finally ready to receive it.
Long before I understood what the relationship might mean, I discovered references to Cowboy while rereading old entries in one of my dream journals. The descriptions were so specific that, when I finally met him, I felt as though I already knew who he was. In my dreams, he seemed to be following me on an astral level, carrying a strong energetic presence until the time came for us to meet in person.
Because of that, I was not entirely surprised by what surfaced for me during our Twin Flame gathering in August. As we listened, shared, and reflected together, several memories and experiences from my relationship with Cowboy came rushing back to me.
I first met Cowboy in person at another Meetup in Western Maryland.
Only recently did I remember that, years before our meeting, I had created a vision board in my bedroom while living in Olney, Maryland. Among the images I had clipped out was a photograph of a cowboy sitting beside a trailer.
At the time, I remember having the feeling that one day I would meet a cowboy. A few years later, during an evening meditation, I had another striking experience. I saw a vision of the two of us emerging together from a Blue Flame.
Our relationship was not without its unresolved issues, but the connection itself was powerful.
In one of my dreams, Cowboy had told me:
“You will know it’s me because when we meet, it will be hot and passionate like magic!”
He was right.
One of the experiences that stayed with me most strongly involved a dream in which Cowboy took me on a tour of his home. I remember seeing wood paneling in two of the rooms, along with other details that were so clear that I drew them in my journal. Several years later, when I was finally invited to his actual home, I was stunned. The rooms looked just as I had drawn them.
What made this especially strange to me was that, at the time of the dream, Cowboy had not yet divorced and had not yet purchased the house I would later visit. From my perspective, there was no ordinary way he could have shown me that home at the time I dreamed of it. To me, it felt as though the connection had taken place on the astral plane.
One question continued to stay with me:
Was there something in our past that might help explain why our connection felt so immediate and powerful in this life?
One evening, while sitting with Cowboy, I found myself gazing at a blank wall. As I became very still, it was as though a movie screen had suddenly been lowered in front of me. I saw the two of us on an island, deeply in love.
In the scene, I seemed to be a young woman from the Polynesian Islands. Cowboy appeared to be of a different ethnicity, just as he was in this lifetime. I experienced him as a young cabin boy or sailor from England whose ship was involved in transporting and trading spices. I had the sense that we spent a great deal of time together.
I also felt that he eventually left me while I was pregnant with a son—either because he chose to return home or because duty and obligation forced him to leave. What struck me was how much this reflected certain patterns I recognized in our present-day relationship.
In this life, too, Cowboy was highly conscientious about following the expectations of his culture and background. Yet I never doubted that he had genuine feelings for me. For me, the vision suggested that perhaps some of the emotional patterns between us had roots in a much older story. Whether viewed as a past-life memory, symbolic vision, or expression of the subconscious, the experience gave me a framework for understanding why our bond felt so magnetic.
After our Starseed Meetup, something else happened that caught my attention. The very next YouTube program I happened to watch was a history documentary from a channel I had never seen before.
It focused on Ferdinand Magellan’s voyages and the difficult journeys his crew made through the Americas and onward toward the Spice Islands, where ships loaded valuable goods for transport. The timing felt extraordinary to me.
Because of the vision I had experienced earlier, I felt as though I was being shown a piece of historical context that echoed the story I had seen. I cannot say with certainty what that means.
But to me, it felt like a moment of synchronicity—one that helped close a circle and brought another layer of meaning to the relationship I had shared with Cowboy.
Experiences like these are also why I believe gatherings such as our Starseed Meetups can serve such an important purpose. Sometimes it is only when we come together, share stories, listen to one another, and enter a collective space of reflection that memories begin to surface and connections start to make sense.
The group energy can become a catalyst.
A forgotten dream returns.
A long-standing question suddenly finds context.
A vision that once seemed random begins to connect with something else.
For me, the Twin Flame Meetup did exactly that. It helped me revisit a relationship that had profoundly shaped my life and allowed me to see it from a wider perspective.
Whether we interpret these experiences spiritually, symbolically, psychologically, or somewhere in between, I believe there is value in listening to what they awaken within us. Sometimes the purpose of a meaningful connection is not simply to remain together forever. Sometimes it is to help us remember something about ourselves.
And sometimes, years later, we finally understand why that person entered our life at all.
